Collegium Medicum NCU Bydgoszcz

The English-language medical program at Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz is a popular and good alternative for Scandinavian students who want a medical education of high quality in a pleasant, international student environment. 

Collegium Medicum offers a new, well equipped and centrally located Student House offering students single and double rooms of high quality, each with a private bathroom.  Students have free internet access and access to a recreation room and a quiet study room.     

Currently, there are about 170 Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, American, Canadian, Irish, Italian, Saudi and Spanish students at Collegium Medicum. The medical program in English is based on the plan of study for Polish students and all subjects are taught in English. The solid theoretical and practical background as well as academic knowledge gained during lectures and clinical classes allow our students to choose their future specialization according to their skills and abilities.

The medical study in Bydgoszcz starts with a four-week preparatory course in biology, chemistry and physics starting August 31, 2015. This will give new students the chance to strengthen their basic knowledge of the natural sciences and get used to studying in English. The preparatory course includes orientation days, sightseeing and social activities. Medical students at Collegium Medicum organise a buddy-system for all newcomers.
