Kursens mål är att deltagarna utvecklar en förståelse för nyckelbegrepp relaterade till globalisering av industrier och tekniker, inklusive Global Value Chain (GVC), Global Innovation Network (GIN) och Global Production Network (GPN) samt hur covid-19 förändrat dessa. Kursen ingår i kurspaketet DIGIBUS (hh.se/digibus) där du som deltagare kan läsa hela kurspaketet eller enstaka kurser. Kursen är för yrkesverksamma och ges på distans på engelska. Anmälan är öppen så länge det finns möjlighet att bli antagen. The course is for professionals and is held online in English. Application is open as long as there is a possibility of admission. The courses qualify for credits and are free of charge for participants who are citizens of any EU or EEA country, or Switzerland, or are permanent residents in Sweden. About the course Global EntrepreneurshipHow the covid-19 pandemic disrupts global value chains today is hotly debated, and the implications to new forms of innovation and entrepreneurship including the use of digital technologies in that is important to be lifted up. The objectives of the course are: a) to develop an understanding on key concepts related to globalisation of industries and technologies, including Global Value Chain (GVC), Global Innovation Network (GIN) and Global Production Network (GPN) and the covid-19 induced changes on that; b) to develop skills in assessing the impact of these changes to different types of industries and firms, from industrial knowledge perspective; and c) to develop skills in identifying new forms of (Schumpeterian) innovations and entrepreneurship in this new global and digital context. In the course the content will be delivered with a case study manner: the key theoretical concepts will be discussed in combination with detailed analyses of industry cases and firm cases. The cases serve as illustrations. It will be easy for the participants to understand the theories and apply theories when assessing the impacts to their own organizations. The course is developed for professionals. It is held online in English.
