Plastic Extension of Music

The purpose of this course is to explore and create alternative interpretations of music performance with different forms of art and methods outside the musical instrument, by creating a new artwork, a Plastic Extension of a music piece that the participant will choose to perform. The participants and instructor will create a space of reflexion, collaboration, discussion and creativity, to help develop the different alternatives and forms of these new artworks in the form of Plastic Extensions of Music.

The activities in the course will include presentations, a public seminar, two visits to Skissernas Museum in Lund, the creation of your own Plastic Extension, a concert and a public exhibition. Most of the activities are semi-presential with obligatory presential activities.
