Major in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (BA)

In an increasingly interdependent but uneven world, analyses of the role of ideas (theory), of power (politics), and of material interest (economics) must be brought together for an in-depth understanding of global political processes. The Major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics has its origins in the long-established and highly successful PPE degree offered at the University of Oxford. Its specificity at The American University of Paris lies in its integrated approach, with courses across the three disciplines mutually reinforcing each other.
