Sociologiska analyser och nya utmaningar

This course celebrates the contemporary breadth and diversity of sociological research. Emerging and established analytical perspectives from fields such as environmental sociology and welfare sociology are presented and discussed. Students are also given the opportunity to explore different current research directions in sociology in project form heightening their appreciation of the types of research questions motivating conventional and applied social research today. This is a core course in sociology at the postgraduate level and the introductory course on the Master Programme in Sociology. It can also be followed as an optional course by both domestic and international students.Language of instruction: English
