This course will help sport coaches develop strategies when faced with difficult decisions. The aim is to explore different leadership styles and theories in order to help further the students own coaching philosophy and core values which guide decisions under pressure. Furthermore, this course focus on the intrapersonal knowledge domain of sport coaching and student will gain knowledge regarding coach development strategies in order to identify own areas of improvement and planning for long term coach development and success.The course is given in a digital format. Forms of teaching that may occur are lectures, group discussions, guided self-study as well as oral and written presentations via a web-based learning platform. The teaching language is English but written assignments can be submitted in English or Swedish.
